History of Reiki
Reiki is a form of energy healing that was discovered by Dr Mikao Usui of Japan in the early 20th century. Rei translates as higher intelligence, and Ki translates as energy or life force. Reiki is a spiritual practice and can work alongside any religion or none. Reiki can help heal emotional imbalances, increase clarity and improve self awareness. Studies have also shown that reiki is effective at managing pain and anxiety.

Healing
At Sacred Space, we share Reiki with a wide range of clients from all backgrounds, with a variety of health concerns, including; anxiety, anorexia, depression, insomnia, trichtotillomania, motor neurones disease, autism and cancer rehabilitation. Each treatment is tailored to your needs and works with the highest intention of love and healing to restore balance. Treatments can be conducted with a hands on or hands off approach. Our aim is to make you as comfortable as possible. Gift vouchers available.

Training
We also offer small group training for Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 students. All our courses come complete with comprehensive manual and certificate and enable you to use and share Reiki on yourself, your friends and family and even professionally if that is your goal. We pride ourselves on honouring the lineage of Reiki whilst also allowing space so that personal development and intuition can thrive. All our courses meet National Occupational Standards.
