Equine Reiki
Treat your four legged friends to a deeply healing session, designed to restore balance and health on all levels.
"My 16hh coloured mare received treatment for shoulder and back pain. Sky was also showing signs of isolation from the other horses she is turned out with and generally was not herself. In the days following weekly reiki sessions with Michelle I have noticed a positive change in her overall posture and wellbeing. As an owner I was skeptical about Reiki but seeing the overall improvement in Sky I am looking forward to having my other horse treated who is showing signs of stifness and lameness."

What is equine reiki?
Horses respond exceptionally well to Reiki. Equine reiki is non invasive and doesn't use pressure or manipulation. It is a holistic healing therapy that treats the cause of the problem not just the presenting symptoms. It heals the horse on many levels; physically, mentally, emotionally and spirituality. It is safe for all equines and works safely alongside veterinary medicine.

What can reiki do for my horse?
Reiki can help with a wide range of issues, from physical problems such as; laminitis, tendon/ligament injuries, lameness, sweet itch and post op recovery, through to emotional and behavioural issues like; box walking, stable vices, moving yards, anxiety, pre show nerves, and mistreatment. Reiki can also help develop a closer bond between horse and owner, and as horses frequently mirror their owners I recommend my popular horse and rider package.

What happens during a treatment?
Treatments can be conducted either in the horses regular stable, tied loosely in a paddock or the horse can be allowed to roam freely. Horses decide how long a treatment lasts, which can be anywhere from 35 minutes up to 1.5 hours!Following a treatment it is best to leave them for a couple of hours to rest and absorb the energy. Your horse may drink more, and perhaps have more wind/faeces than usual. This is normal. It is recommended to have a course of 3-6 treatments to see noticeable changes. £55 per session within 15 mile radius of Stockport.
